Lattice nuclear physics

Using nuclear lattice effective field theory, we will perform ab initio calculations of the carbon isotopic chain and light halo nuclei, scattering processes like nucleon-alpha, carbon-alpha scattering and radiative capture and inspect hyper-nuclei using various methodological improvements. Furthermore, lattice QCD calculations will be performed for hyper-nuclei and other exotic nuclei. Key hadronic matrix elements related to fundamental symmetries (and their violations) will also be calculated using new algorithms currently under development.
